Things that are terrifying
1. The fact that our lives are an unfathomable mystery.
2. The fact we have been cast adrift onto this infinitesimal small speck in a cold, dark, inhospitable Universe whose immensity defies comprehension.
3. The fact that we are condemned to not know our ultimate destiny — whether we will all soon vanish into an eternal nothingness or very soon ascend into some wholly unknown reality.
4. Spiders and stuff.
